I have LRS shields on both the Road King and the batwing. They say: Cleaning: Because all plastics are susceptible to various chemical solvents, we recommend our HOG WASH detailing solution or the use of mild soap and water for cleaning plastic windshields. Purple Slice and Brillianize are also acceptable cleaners. Always clean windshields with a soft cloth, not paper towels. DO NOT clean plastic windshields with Windex. Avoid using solvents such as gasoline, acetone, MEK, lacquer thinner, etc., on plastic windshields. DO NOT USE LOC-TITE ON YOUR WINDSHIELD.
Honda dealers have canned spray cleaner and polish. I find it works excellent on the entire bike. Best I've found and is about 7.95 a can and it lasts quite awhile--2 cans a year. I'm a Harley guy but his stuff is all I need for everything.
+1, Honda polish I really good stuff for a quick detailer or a windshield/glasses cleaner. Have had the same can for a couple years.
I used it last summer, and had good results. I have since discovered Protect All at Walmart. The stuff is phenomenal! It works on just about any surface of the bike (obviously not denim paint).

+1 Used the Honda stuff for years and years when I was a Honda guy and still use it as a Harley guy and suspect the Harley stuff in a spray can is the same/similar stuff. I have been using another spray on product called, "Bug Slide" over the past year with similar results, and costs less than the aforementioned....or did when I bought it on Ebay.

I used Pledge on everything on the bike for several years. I would use Bugslide on trips. The last can of Pledge that I bought must be the new formula. It is more difficult to use and doesn't do as good a job. So, I'm using the Bugslide all of the time now.
