The Power Commander V for the 2010 Touring models has been released which is part # 15-011. This unit is different than the PC for the 2009 bike. The ECM pinout is slightly different on the 2010 bike mainly due to the wiring change to accomodate the heated O2 sensors. The PC-V unit plugs directy into the ECM. Another change is that you no longer need to use O2 sensor eliminators as with the 2010 PC-V you can simply unplug the O2 sensors. We have already developed a pretty wide range of2010 maps and have units in stock and shipping. For more info feel free to contact us.
My dealer is suggesting a Super Tuner for my 09 Ultra -- what are the differences between brands? I have never used any of these in the past, and have no experience with them.
Any word on when the 2/1/2 headers for the 2010 will be out and the soonest we can see pictures of the headers? When I get back from Iraq in January I pick up my 2010 limited in February. I'm looking to getting the headers (to eliminate the cats and heat) carbon billets, stage I A/C and the PC-V.
why unplug the o2 sensors?
will there be any driiveability issues?
You must bypass the O2 sensors so you can adjust/correct the cruse range mixture as the stock narrowband sensors are an EPA mandated device that sets the AFR at 14.6:1. There are no driveability issues, on the contrary by tuning the EFI you will see much better throttle response and running quality as well as increased performance and cooler running.
