Thanks...I actually got the idea from my brother's bike. He has an 09 CVO Ultra. Even though it's 3 colors, his fairing gave me the idea for the pattern that I came with. The first painter was actually shown my brother's bike for the "pattern", but chose to paint along the bend for some reason. Go figure!
I don't want to offend anyone, but I don't care for the way the fairing looks on the Ultra in my color bike. That is why I did not want the typical harley paint job. Just too much white IMO.
BTW...from what i can tell from your profile pic...you have a great looking scoot! I LOVE red and white bikes.

Thanks. I like yours too. I really like the classic two color look.
I plan to add a fairing after the first of the year. I'll post when I finish it. Where you thinking of adding lowers?

I want to do the same thing to my bike but I also want to add a tach mounted to the nacelle. I was wondering if that would work or would the fairing hit the tach and I would have to remove the tach. I really like the bag placed on the large space above the radio. Great idea to hide that big space and make it useful.

I'm pretty sure the tach will be in the way...my Zumo mount and Techmount (for my phone or my iPod) had to be pushed forward. i.e., the arms on them are close to vertical. I'm not 100% though, this is only my opinion. You may want call or at least scour the photo gallery of whatever fairing company you're thinking of to see if anyone else has one on theirs.
I have a tach, but it's built into the speedo. I look at that more than the speed, can't imagine not having one.

No lowers for me. Being the delicate little flower that I am , I don't want the extra weight on my bike...plus, living in Texas, I want all the airflow that I can get. If it's cold, I wear heated gear. BUT, I am considering the leather rainguards (Desert Dawgs). They appear to be easy to install/uninstall and would be easy to pack on trips for the times I might want the protection from rain/cold.
hey blue duck is that a deadcenter fairing on your rk classic suede blue black two tone i have an 07 flhr same color combo that faring would look great on my scoot.
