I have the true dual system on my Road King. They sound great when riding and people riding behind me, say they sound even better. I did install cams with the pipes, so that will change things also. I think they sound deeper than my dad's Rhineharts, either way get them on. You will love the sweet sounds they produce. Slash down by the way, match to the bags.

It does 'look' better slash up, but I didn't want to have the pipes rust out...
Quit parkin that bike in the rain I live in the NW and mine have never shown an ounce of rust.
