I just installed a set of Bub 7's on my 09 Ultra Classic. I went slash up. I like the way they line up with the bags. Also last weekend I installed Fuel Moto's PCV and the auto tune. By the way I used the stock exhaust pipes.
Clean those pipes. A little chrome polish will shine the inside of the tips up nice. I have a bad habit of cleaning mine every hundred miles or so.
Dang, if I cleaned mine every hundred miles I would be cleaning them 6 or 7 times every week. No thanks, I would rather ride than polish my Bubs! I do polish them every time I wax it, once or twice a year.

I know... I do it almost every ride, part of getting ready is hitting the tips with some polish. I keep the stuff sitting right there and it takes 30- 45 seconds.
I have sad sense of enjoyment.
I have the true dual system on my Road King. They sound great when riding and people riding behind me, say they sound even better. I did install cams with the pipes, so that will change things also. I think they sound deeper than my dad's Rhineharts, either way get them on. You will love the sweet sounds they produce. Slash down by the way, match to the bags.
Maybe we should give the bike pipe angle a techie nomenclature forward slash (/) and back slash (\)

slash up, slash down. So they match the line of the bags. I feel like I'm talking to my girlfriend, so critical. Thank you acchd, what I meant to say is back slash.
