I have a BUB7 2-1 on my '08 FLHT. It seems like the mid heatshield/cover leaves a "hole" uncovered. I can't move the heatshield any further forward or rear and the muffler is correctly aligned. Is this normal on these pipes?
It doesn't bother me at all and I do like the pipes a lot, just curious.

I have an '07 with the Bubs. That cut out in the heat shield is for the passenger peg arm. It wouldn't fit with out the cut out. And isn't very noticeable.
