1st gear most of the time.........long red light in a lot of traffic I like to scratch with left hand so I go to neutral.

If it matters, some states regs say you must not put a vehicle in neutral at a red light. If it matters... It depends on the intersection and if I'm cold. Most times I pull the clutch in and hold it.

Leave it in first gear and keep an eye on your mirrors. You need to be ready to get out of the way and you can't do that if you're in neutral.

If I'm familiar with the intersection and it's one of those 5 minute lights, I may put it in neutral.
