I have 40K kms on mine and will get the tensionners replaced soon.

Is the gear drive set-up ...longer lasting? more expensive?
How does hydrolic wear? expense?

I'm wondering, I have an 07 Ultra...I don't pretend that I know anything, but I'd sure like to know what I need to about my 07 as far as cam chain tensioner...Has the 07 been improved to the point that it is not a concern? What mileage should it be checked on an 07?

I checked my tensioners on the '03 at 30,000 and had minimal wear. Don't have to worry about the tensioners anymore thought. There are a lot of people with bikes with 30,000 to 60,000 miles that are not aware of the issue and that they need to be inspected.
