Default Power Commander Location

Where do you locate a power commander on a Ultra Classic?

I put it in my right side cover. Too much of a hassle under the seat. If I want to access it to hook up to the laptop to make changes, I don't need to pull the seat. I just remove the right saddle bag.
Works for me.

It is made to attach right to the top of the OEM ECM w/velcro supplied with PCV. It will fit fine with a little patience. Just follow the directions with the PCV. Enjoy

Just did mine last night. Installed under the seat and it is a REALLY tight squeeze for the second set of connectors. Noticed there was a space just infront of the battery if you push a few other smaller connectors out of the way.

With ABS it has to go under the seat. As stated, it is tight, but it will fit. Trim away some of the battery cover, if necessary.

Not an Ultra, but here's some pictures from my installation on the 09 Road Glide. They are also uploaded to my gallery.

Been there with the powercommander.....I traded up to the thundermax autotune and needed no extra space like with the powercommander....The Tmax totally replaces the factory ECM and performs better.
