Got down here yesterday. The TV news are reporting that the temps are 10 degrees hotter than normal for this time of year. If you are coming down, don't forget the swim suit and shorts (for walking around, not riding)
I rode down yesterday to check out some camp sites and yes it was hot. I also noticed that Saddleman Jacks, a restaurant just south of Destination Daytona on US1 was closed up and empty. Sign of the times. This was a great spot to meet.
It should be getting a little cooler by this weekend.
Ride safe
We have had near record highs in SW Fla last week. It is supposed to cool down a bit by Friday and Saturday, but with a slight chance of rain. But it beats snow and cold weather...

Too bad we can't get some of that heat up here. Our temps have been running 25 degrees below norm for nearly a week. Talking about some effin' snow today...too early for that crap!
