Why not just put a pair of BMW head light bulbs in your Road Glide. Wider beam and much, much brighter. Total cost $27.00. 100/80 Halogen. Two years and no problems. You will have to re-aim your lights.

And where do you get these vehicle specific headlights?

Good luck

these are NOT what Porsche and Mercedes use... they use a projector housing with HID bulbs.

the Xetronic Digital G2 are just a bulb swap HID kit...
same HID kit you can buy off ebay for $37.00 right here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-C...#ht_5003wt_939

I've been down this road with my '98 Corvette.
I bought a HID kit exactly like what you guys are "raving" about, and once I got used to it I found that I still wasn't seeing as far down the road as I should be, ESPECIALLY since I now had HID bulbs. most of the light was right in front of the car and when they were adjusted to "try" and shine more down the road they just blinded oncoming traffic and I STILL couldn't see as far as I should be seeing.

then I bought HID projector housings for my '98 Corvette and the difference was night and day!
yes they were WAAAAY more expensive but there's a reason that ALL cars that come with HID from the factory have projector housings!

ALL of these bulb swap "kits" are made in China or Taiwan regardless of who's name is on the box, they're cheap and you get what you pay for... and while these bulb swap HIDs will give off more light than a stock bulb, most of that light will be right in front of you (which fools you into thinking you're seeing more) instead of down the road where you want it and NEED it..
unless you guys have found some way to put a HID projector housing into your bike, don't waste the money on the bulb swap HID's.

Do these 100/80 bulbs produce enough heat to melt any
of the plastic components inside the housing ??
Just wondering if there are any long term effects associated with these !!
Any type of a relay needed for this application ?

Try to adjust your stock lights. I am always looking out for deer at night. Good adjustments really help you "reach out"!

Chris...do you have this kit on your bike and how much trouble was it to install? also, was there a problem with space for the kit, I have an aftermarket amp and HD wiring harness for my XM satellite so its really cramped with wires? thanks

I think the Kuryakyn driving lights are a great option for the Road Glide.
