Does anybody have a link/number for someone that sells Wild Pig baffles? I've contacted B&M and they're suggesting playing with the wrap. I don't think removing the wrap will make them as loud as I want, so I'd like to get the 2" or 2 1/4" baffles.
Does removing the wrap make them tinny sounding at all? Concerned I'd loose the deep rumble.
Ya know it's funny how people look to get different things out of their pipes. Sound preferences are definitely a personal thing. I added fiberglass wrap to mine before I even installed them and they are plenty loud enough for me even at idle and definitely bark when you get on them. It's not a big deal though to play around with them to hear the different sounds by removing the baffles. If you take the pipes off it is only one bolt holding the baffle in. I'm sure you will get them to your liking.
I tried both ways with my pigs. Wrap on wrap off, I thought the pipes lost the deep rumble when I had the wrap off, so I put it back on and I like the deeper sound. But I won't be 100% satisfied until I get Vance and Hines true duals. I think the stock cross over pipe gives the bike a fluttery sound. Seperate head pipes is what gives a Harley that mean pulsating sound. Vance and Hines and Wild pigs = good price great sound.
One of the guys on this forum mentioned pulling the wrap and replacing it HVAC sheet metal. So, I got my hands on a rivet gun today, I'll get some sheetmetal tomorrow and give that a try.
The other option of cutting the baffle sounds interesting too.
I didn't see a way on wildpigpipes.com to order their products.
I think you'll be pleased with the sound. Seems like now I end up doing it every set I sell. I recently did the sheet metal trick on a set of V&H slip on's. Man what a sound! If I wasn't runnig a 2 into 1 I'd have them on my bike. But overall for the money, ya just can't beat Wild Pigs in my opinion. Next time I place an order, I'll ask about different baffles for future reference.

Yup, you're the guy that I've seen recommend the sheet-metal thing I'm heading out tomorrow to get some from Home Depot. I'll report back after I make the change. I'm pleased with the Wild Pigs, just want more decibels. I'll see what your sheet metal fix does. If that's not enough, I'll order the 2 1/4" baffles.
