The best accessory you'll ever buy for yourself is Gerbings....I have the Union Ridge suit and gloves....warm down to 13 degrees....course we are riding motorcycle, expect wind...

Get an aftermarket fairing,it will shield your hands better than a windshield.With the Road Glide your hands aren't shielded either,they're above the fairing=cold hands.

I slap the tall (19") windshield on my road glide when we go on road trips and I have no issues at all.

Well, I'll be. After seeing all the dialog on those chrome fork wind deflectors HD makes, I went and bought a set over the weekend and put them on.

Head and helmet buffeting is gone. 75mph and all is calm, deflected everything to the front of my legs.

I would the lowers before I think about trading. Start with the soft ones then go up to the Hard vented ones.

Drive a car or a truck or drive around in a vacum or maybe a bubble. Move to a state with no wind!
