Default E3s after 200 miles

Hey all:

I just thought I'd report back on my new E3s.

I have now ridden on them for a couple of hundred miles...The ride is good and so is the handling. Although I had no troubles with the 402s, I do feel more confident and comfortable with the E3s...

Highly recommended at this time.

I put one on my rear about 2500 miles ago and like it fine. I can't tell any difference from the D402 except the E3 may be less sensitive to rain grooves. I'll put one on the front when it wears down some more. I have not ridden in heavy rain with the E3 so I don't know how it compares in those conditions.

Love mine. Handles better in the rain, curves feel better, and it doesn't track like the original tires on bridges.

The only issue for me is that they are louder than the originals, specially with the windshield on. Other than that, great tires.

I have about 4,800 on my set, front and rear. Bike does handle better, great in the rain. I rode on the "Trail of Tears" ride and we had a down pour for 60 miles or so they did great.
Out side of being noisy in the front I really like them. Had a bad wine at 70 mph from the rear. Pumped to 38 lbs now quiet.
I will replace them with the same when the time comes.
I was only getting an average of 7,000 miles on the rear with the factory type tires. Went to e3's at 32,000 miles, now have 36,800 miles on the bike. Plenty of thread left.

I have over 1000 miles in the E3's, and all I can say is they blow the OEM tires away.

I put an E3 on the rear 1st of August. I now have 8000 miles on it and have nothing but good things to say.

I ordered a front and rear E3 last week to have on hand when my front 402 wears out. Figured I'd need a rear again at the same time. Now that I have a tire with 8k on it and a brand new to compare, I really can't see much of a difference. At this rate, I may get 15 or better out of that rear.
