What is this switch?
After 3 days of riding my 06 RK Classic, I still can't find any reference to the extra switch on the back of the chrome headlight cover. The right side switch is obviously for the extra headlights, but the left side does nothing.
I assume it is for an accessory, but what? It has wires, so where would I tie into it? Is it protected by a fuse? Which one?
So many questions...

RE: What is this switch?
It is an accessory switch with the other end located under the seat near the battery. The manual says to see your dealer for possible uses. I think they say that so you don't overload the switch. I would think you could use if for a heated seat or heated clothing.

I used the accessory plug on my Road Glide to power my intercom. I had purchased a cigarette lighter with a plug that ties in to the accessory plug under the seat. You can also buy a Y splitter to run a couple accessories. I ended up cutting off the cigarette lighter and using the plug and wire to splice into the intercoms power and ground. Made a neater package and I do not have the intercom using power when I'm not using it.

Like the other say, Its a extra switch to control add ons. When I changed my bars on my o6 roadking it was not hooked up. I ran engine dress up lights on my old roadking to that switch. But do agree with the others, dont overload the circuit, I think 10amps draw is what harley says. Have A great 4th!
