I also use the HD Lid covers and they work great. The first time the wife climbed on the back, she would drag her shoe across the saddlebag so I went and bought them ASAP. Just put them on after you warm up the material so they will stretch easier.(Hair Dryer is one option)

Put lid covers on the hardbags to protect them from scratching and then use them to store your leathers. Where I am, from June and September can be hot during and day, but you'll freeze your a$$ off on the ride home if you didn't pack your coat, chaps and gloves. The bags aren't for lookin' at, use them. If you need more, get a strap on bag.

I didn't only because I have the tourpak on it. If I had a RK or something without a pak, I would definitely get them.

Default Mustang lid covers

Mustang seats has lid covers with and w/out the black pearl studs so you can match them up with your seat if you want. They ran about $105 for the pair. TourPak lid cover is about $85.
Fit nice and snug, quality product.

There are a few companies in the UK that make kits for Harleys a friend had a set put on his new SE Ultra, bat wing bag tops and fronts and lowers. you have to look real close to see it and if you want you can just peel it off.
