Any correct grade w/o the friction modifiers is going to hold up well IMO, but as above you will find lots of threads with brand zealots to convince you only brand X will protect your baby.

I also think Mobil 1 and Amsoil are just as good.
These are my choices for a synthetic oil.
Standard oil, I'd probably run Bel-Ray V-Twin oil.
