Default Auto Tune

If you purchase a auto tune device like PCV or TTS I am told you still have to Dyno tune. What's the point?

all you need is good target AFR's. lots of people (self included) will be more than happy to share a good target afr table with you.

Not true. And don't forget about T-Max!

I went to the PCV with AutoTune just so I didn't have to get to a dyno for evey thing I changed. It is sweet with plenty of support out there.

The TTS does not "auto tune" And those units that do "auto tune" only do so within the parameters set by the maker of that unit.

Spend some time learning tuning and I think you'll have a much better understanding just what tuning is or does.

In the case of the PCV-AT, what limits have been set by DynoJet in its regulation of AFR's? TTS does auto-tune within the parameters of its narrow-band O2 sensors, which is roughly between about 14.2 and 15.1:1 AFR and 0-50% TP.
