I have an 02 Rk with about 30k miles. I noticed last night while going home on the freeway, a noticeable vibration in both floor boards. I checked air pressure and tightened everything I had access to but I could not find anything wrong. I did a search and the only thing I found was addressed to 06 and 07 Road Glides. If anyone can help me with this, I would sure appreciate it.
Have you removed anything lately and re-installed it?
Reason I ask is, when I removed my exhaust header to to remove the cam cover. After I was back together and out for a test ride, I had a vibration that wasn't there before. It ended up to be a heat shield against a bolt on the frame. Re-adjusted the shield and no more vibration.
motor mounts might be an issue that needs checking as soos mentioned. with it being both floorboards, that is the likely thing that needs to be checked. if it were just one side, i'd suspect something else, but with both of them, it's probably the front donut motor mount.

I did check the front motor mount but I didn't see anything unusual. I'm not at all sure I know what to look for. I also notice that my kick stand is harder to go down or up. Would you know what a front motor mount repair would cost? Thanks for your help.
