I cover mine every night. I still wake up with dust on it. I like using a swifter duster before I take off. It does a good job at getting dust off and is easy on the paint surface.
I am sure many already have thought about this, but spending a little time cleaning her is part of the joy of owning a motorcycle. Sure we all buy them to ride, but its a hobby and garage time can be just as enjoying.
With that said, I am picking up my Vivid Black Street Glide Saturday morning and above is what convinced me the color was going to okay for me. Black looks SO nice when she gleams.
I am coming off a Bronze and Pearl White Victory and I could go many rides at a time before cleaning as it hid the dust and dirt well, but I always enjoyed spending time with my bike cleaning.
Those that use a California Duster, do you ever worry about them making small scratches when there is some dirt? I have one but I think I am petrified to use it. It is a few years old and is filthy.
good god, some of you are pretty darn ****. can someone say ocd?
i like a clean bike myself, but i'm not gonna cover it in the garage every day. or dust it off every morning. if i got a good smattering of bugs, i'll clean them off, but i'd rather spend my time riding than cleaning.

takes all kinds to make the world go round......
I'm fairly **** myself, but not about my bike. Like skratch said, I wipe the bugs off and keep goin' - 18K this year and several pounds of bugs...Every now and then it sees a hose and twice a year a good coat of wax.
