at least it looks like an easy fix. 2 to 1, you'll swap it around, take it for a ride, and not notice any difference one way or the other. the guy on the video said it was 'critical for operation', but i'm not sure how it would make a difference.
Kevin,
Sounds like you found the fix.
I was pretty confident you needed a stabilizer.
Do you still need me to bring my "Alignment Tool" when I come to Nashville this weekend?
Let me know...you have my number if you need me.
Chris
OH...my buddy somehow fried that Kuryakyn Run/Turn/Brake module.
I do have a Badlands Run/Turn/Brake module, new...you can have it same price, $50 bucks.
Shout at me if you want it.
Yeah Skratch I swapped it around, no difference but now I know its right.
Chris:
The stabilizer ligned up perfect with the bolt holes but if you feel like we need to align it then we will. I ran it down the interstate pretty hard and no more wobble. Bring it with you we will take a look at it. On the Badlands harness, does it plug in or have to be wired, I put one of those on my old Tour Glide and it was a day job putting it in. Bring it too we will get together either way.
I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but I put 200 Flawless Exciting miles on the scoot this weekend. Rode ALL DAY Saturday with the wife on back we ran interstate at 80 most of the way and the wife even said "what did you do to this thing it is so smooth I don't feel the wobble any more" I new right then it was money well spent. Then yesterday rode most of the day with my buddy and we hit nothing but back roads all day and WOW the difference is amazing. It is like a brand new bike. I feel ALOT safer on this thing now. Between all new bearings, new Dunlop Elite 3's, and the stabilizer, I should be good to go. Now for a new paint job and a set of wheels. I am really diggin this old paid for bike now. And a month ago I was really close to trading and having a payment. Thanks again guys for all the input. I absolutely love this forum.
