Default Progressive Touring Link install ???s
I recently purchased a Touring Link from a friend of mine who was selling his bike. He told me all the parts were there. I reading the instructions, I was informed that a locator key must be installed on 2003 and later touring models. I need some help since i dont see this key anywhere in the bag of nuts and bolts. Has anyone done this install and can shead some light on this???/

You can help yourself by going to Progressive's website where they have written instructions to download and a video to watch!

I have watched the video and read the instructions,, But all it says is install the locator key,, doesnt say if it is supplied or not,, thought i would ask one of u who have installed this already...

The key is supplied. It fits over a pin thats on the back side of the bracket. I think it acts as a spacer.

ok thanks,,, i didnt find it in the baggie with all the bolts and washers,, guess i need to call progressive...

It's a fairly tight fit. If your friend had to have it to install on his bike, then it may still be on there. It wouldn't just fall off. Check it out.

Like FLHTCU Owner, I installed one on my 2001 Ultra. I have since traded it in and still have the key left over and don't need it.
