I am presently using the V&H true dual headers.
After installing the PCV W/AT the 02 sensor is touching the trans cover on top.
I had to remove the left side pipe to install the 02 sensor. There wasn't enough room to install the sensor.
My question:
Is any one using the true dual header with the PCV W/AT that has clearance for the sensor's?
If you do what header are you using. I have been looking at different headers but no good photos to see if there is more clearance. Only need about 1/4 inch or so.
I am going to replace the header but what will give me some clearance.
It may not be a problem but it could in time.
What year is your bike? Don't want to ask any stupid questions but I've got an '07 Street Glide with V&H true dual headers and 02 sensors installed. Did have to install the sensor prior to installing the rear header but jockeying the header around on the bracket on the case gave me clearance between the sensor and the top of the tranny.
I had planed on calling FuelMoto tomorrow (Monday) to see what they had to offer.
After removing the rear pipe I found that my rear exhaust bracket was broke. Had to weld it.
There isn't much pressure on the sensor but it has the wire coming from the sensor on a angle. I want to remove the angle.
