Amongst other things, dyno running will show air/fuel ratios throughout the rpm range and the tuner can adjust your bike to give optimum performance, also make sure the engine runs smoothly throughout the rev range. I also have an S&S motor, a V107T, which gave a few more HP and TQ with dyno adjustments and now runs much sweeter in the mid-range, where most of us ride. I plan having another run soon to make further adjustments, also to see what the numbers are now the motor has plenty of miles on it.

Check out these guys, do a search on the forum, Ed did a smoothing of my dealer dyno'd map as a favor through email. I will visit him in Feb for a full blown dyno in Feb, he comes highly recommended. I would get the dyno just to know it is running correctly plus I am a TQ and MPG freak.

Dyno for sure. After spending all that cash spend a bit more to make it run perfect. It will be well worth it.

A dyno will get you a good base map for your pcv with auto tune to work its best. IMO
