Here's the Softbrake bracket

And the AutoGem..

I replaced the Auto-Gem with the Softbrake when I removed the Nostalgic saddlebag rails (the AG tube didn't look right w/o the rails)...also the AG requires you to bend the plate.

I thought I saw one on ebay for about $20 that used the exsisting turn signal bar. Does anyone know which one I am talking about?

My '05 Road Glide has the narrow, small turn signals. I had a lay-down license plate bracket on the fender brace, but liked the street Glide look with the plate below the brake light. I had my dealer order a Street Glide turn signal bar, the Street Glide license light, license plate brackets and the Harley Davidson script piece that replaces the original license plate bracket. All told, I think the parts came top just over a hundred dollars. I pulled my original light bar off the fender, transferred my turn signal bulb sockets to the new bar, assembled the license plate bracket and put it all back together in about an hour. I've never had any luck (or demonstration) removing the wiring from the sockets, so I just spliced and heat-shrunk my wiring. Now if custom chrome would just make their LED laydown taillight withOUT the top facing tag light. But, then again, the tag light does light theH-D Script nicely and makes the back of the bike even a little more noticable in the dark. Let me know if you want me to find my invoice and get you the H-D part numbers. If I've got a picture of the finished job, I'll post it in my photos.

I used the one from Softbrake. $40 and very easy installation. Added the Harley script plate to fill the holes in the grab bar and changed the rear lens cover to the SG model (clear lens on the bottom)

When i ordered my parts, I went with the items for the '06, being the closest to my '05. But I remember there were changes for the '08 and newer that simplified the license pplate bracket. any good parts counter help should be able to identify exactly your parts and which mate with it to make the SG set-up. I changed the "Bracket, Rear Turn, P/N 68629-05" so I could use the SG license plate light "LightAassembly, w/lead P/N 69353-5". The license bracket for the '05 was a 2-piece set, P/N 60089-05 and P/N 60090-05, plus the rubber bumper P/N 67845-05, and 2 socket head screws, P/N 94412-05. The entire set of parts was $80. Using a tail light with the bottom "tag light", rather than the S/G bracket that accepts the light assenbly, the parts you need will be less than $20.
