help with picking out a roll bag
i have a 08 street glide with the detachable sissy bar. i don't have a luggage rack. i was wanting a quality roll bag to put rain gear or glove jackets and maybe lunch for work. i was wondering if you have to have the luggage rack since we have a bar on the rear fender to keep the bag off the fender. need some opinions guys.

Kuryakyn makes some nice rolls bags that are really stiff.
You can put your bag on your seat behind you and strap it to your sissy bar.
Any bag behind the sissy bar really needs a rack to rest on.
I've seen guys do it without, most of them end up rubbing paint off their rear fender.
