Default Harley ECM

A month ago I had my 2001 FLHRI upped to a 95" with a Power Commander. Funny as it is,he promised 100 HP and it is only producing 84 HP. Not much bang for the buck! Since then the bike has been really problematic. First thing...a push rod fell off then the bike just quit. After several "more" weeks at the shop that did the 95 inch setup, we finally tried a new ECM...BINGO the bike fired. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced problems with the ECM and what Harley will/will not do about it? Also, I'm concerned that the Power Commander "might" have had something to do with it...just a thought!

HD points a finger at Power Commander units as causing ECM problems.

I have now witnessed 4 ECM (Delphi EFI) failures on PC-equipped bikes.
While there is no way to easily troubleshoot a sealed PC, it seems they short circuit internally and take the ECM out.

This is the reason my dealer refused to install a PC... that and they want to sell race tuners.

call Dynojet and ask the Tech support about your issue. Sounds like just a fluke if you ask me.....
