i use the Cardo Scala Q2... plug my ipod and its pretty good. I just ordered a mini amp to increase the volume.

From what I've seen ,most show bikes with audio have a fairing with the fancy flip up LCD screen radios.

I have also seen the Ipods installed in the console.
There are few custom shops around here that install these.
