Default Question to audio specialists

Hi, I have a 2004 Road King, would like to build it as a show bike with some audio. My plan is to instal front lower fairings as in Electra Ultras and equip them with 6,5" speakers, than put another pair of 6x9" in rear hard bags. Power it up with some 4 channel amplifier. The question is about the music source. As you probably noticed, there is no room for a normal radio on RK. Does it make any sense to install an Ipod or Iphone or something else playing music and videos on the tank console? I have seen that most of amplifiers have 4 chinch connectors input and using Ipod I will have only 2 chinch connectors transferred from mini jack from ipod to 2 chinches from the other side?

What is your idea about this?

You could use a pre-amp with single in - dual out. It would also clean up the output of the ipod and some allow remotely mounted volume control, which is nice since the controls on the ipod aren't glove friendly.

Could you post a link to something like you describe? I wouldn't count on getting one in Poland

I'm thinking of recessing an i-pod into the dash on my RKC. Haven't worked out how to do it yet but hope to come up with some ideas in the coming weeks. be interested to see what you do if you beat me to it.
