RAM ball mount...
Just in case you never got your answer...
You'd need to fabricate some kind of mount - the one supplied in the kit is specifically molded for the left edge of the fairing.
You can use the handlebar mounting kit - although it kind of covers up the fuel gauge. Another alternative is http://www.ram-mount.com/

Old post but starting looking into the Zumo and ran into this older post...
I saw a pic a day or so ago (sorry could not find it again) but it was of a SG dash and between the Tach and Speedo he installed a RAM ball mount... so GPS on... no worries... GPS off - Only a small ball visible...
I guess it was something like this...

zumo 660 mounted on dash with klock werks windshield
This on dash mount sells on ebay for $60 dollars and works perfect with my klock werks windshield. No cutting drilling or modifications and attaches in minutes.
