2009 SG low fuel light problems

2009 SG low fuel light problems
The low fuel light on my '09 Street Glide stays on 99% of the time - Doesn't seem to matter if there's a quarter tank or a full tank of gas. I've run some Chevron Techron thru once, but that didn't seem to help.
Any ideas???

the light is activated by the same float ( kinda like the one on your toilet tank) that feeds the fuel gauge.
if the gauge is also wacky, the fuel line is likely wrapped around the float.
it is easy to pull the float/fuel pump and reinsert, checking the lines as you go.
easiest down with a near empty tank.
