Default Bar weights

I have numbness in my hands after several hours of riding my EG.
I wear padded palm gloves but this only helps some.

I talked to a Goldwing rider and he recommend bar weights.
GW's come with them and he swears they help by reducing the vibration in the handlebars.

Has anyone installed them on a Electro-Glide ?
Did they help?

I have no idea about the weights, but was wondering about how hard your clothing cuts into your underarm when you're all tucked in and bundled up. May be loosing a little circulation.

You can only do this on '7's and older as the sensor for the TBW on the '08's and up preclude putting the weights in there. On my other bikes they worked well enough. Just wish I can put them in my '08.
