I have some arthritis in my right hand and "golfers elbow". Both issues are chronic and not recent. These cause big-time numbness in my right hand (only) when riding. I took some prednisone and the numbness pretty much went away. My doctor referred me to an ortho doc with the prediction of probable surgery. I don't want to do that, especially when I have some long trips planned for summer.
Would bar end weights help this? What brand/type? I've also heard that "ISO" grips can help, but I don't like the looks of the Kuryakyn ones with a mix of chrome and rubber. Other brands with rubber only look?
Bar end weights and there used to be a thing called the bar snake...it was a weighted flexible bar that went insude the handle bars. And some nice iso grips and find gloves with gel in the palms and that's about all you can do but you should get some good results
I used to have pain and numbness in my arms and hands. Figured out it was tension making existing nerve problems worse. I had to make a conscious effort to relax my arms and hands. It's automatic now and I don't have problems while riding anymore. I think the hand grip location is important too. I lucked out on that with the current bike and didn't have to try a lot of changes to get it right.

I ride a 2018 FLHCS (Heritage).
I recently rode most of the new 2019 bikes when one of the local dealers had the demo truck here. One thing I noticed on the Heritage (and all of the softails) is a lot of buzz /vibration in the handlebars when riding. I felt it in my hands and the mirrors were blurry when riding, worse with higher rpms. My hands felt a little ""tingly" for a few minutes after just the short 15-20 minute ride. Opposite of my Road King - shakes when idling, but once underway is very smooth and mirrors are clear way past legal speeds.
I would think that different grips and some of the gel type gloves might help some. I have no idea about the bar end weights.
Way back when, when I was riding on higher-reving metric bikes, I had this problem in a big way. After an hour or so, my hands would be like numb rocks at the end of my arms.
Once I started riding HD's, I've never had a bit of trouble.
