Default Clear Derby Cover?

I know I have seen them some where, but I can't fine them now...........Anyone have a link to someone who makes clear derby covers?

I'm thinking it would really cool to have a clear derby cover with a VPC installed.............being able to see the mechanics at work would be sweet.

Steve

Did you even try to Google "clear derby covers"? It took me like 10 seconds to find this.

I would think the oil would cloud the view of the moving parts when the bike is running.

Yeah, You would have to run a dry clutch and maybe an enclosed belt-drive, otherwise you would have oil splashing all over the inside.

I am just curious as to why... just curious is all, not meaning to dispute anyones decisions on parts.

I saw one in action at Pingles booth in Sturgis and it was cool. they had a VPC set up with wet clutch. sure oil splashed but that was all part of the coolness. As to the question why, because it is cool and different. I don't have one but then again I don't have any extra chrome doo dads either.
