I am very interested in the bike stand. Could someone take a photo of their bike in the stand and post it please?

Thanks!

cmhfguy - If you think you might have a problem getting the bike out check to see if any indys or dealers around you have one similar (where you do the work to get it out). If you cant handle getting it out, then you know you will have to go with one like the Condor or Wheeldock where they are assisted. Plus you have the added bonus of having someone there to help you get the bike out in the event that you cant. That is what I would do before ordering one and being apprehensive about getting it out.

It sounds like I will be fine. 5'11 and strong as a bull... or is that full of bull?

Thanks to all who answered my questions.

I am not at my pc but I will try and post pics tonite. I can reply but can't post pics from my blackberry. I will say this, for those of you thinking about using it in the garage like a wheeldock or condor, keep in mind that this stand needs to be bolted down. I had a hard time getting the bike out of the stand until I bolted it to an 8 ft. long 2x10. The back wheel sits in the other end of the board and keeps the thing from moving. Others have said they put the stand on a rubber mat so it wouldn't slip but I don't have anything like that around.

Thats not a bad idea.....Might have to pick up one from Home Depot next time I go. I did have problems because of that and was able to get it out with no problem, but getting it on was a problem. Thank you very much.

I may just drill a couple of holes and use anchors and bolt it to the concrete garage floor.

Arrow my HF wheel chock setup

Like I said in another thread, my Harbor Freight chock slips around on the epoxy on my garage floor. I mounted a scrap piece of siding to the chock and use the weight of the bike to keep it in place. I didn't want to bolt the chock down in my garage, I'm constantly rearranging things out there. Also, using the second hole in the chock makes it much easier to yank the bike out.
