I took the front cross-bar off and bolted the stand to the floor. Works great!
I'm too cheap to buy 2 of them, I bolt mine into my trailer when needed. My wife can put her FatBoy in & out of it by herself. I think the extra weight of fairings (touring bikes) is what makes it tough for some.
