Finally got the radio in, I put in the radio, the HogTune speakers, and the powered antenna that billnourse recommended.
I didn't have time to hook up the XM satellite, I'm thinking of doing it tonight after I pick up a friend at the airport.
WOW, what a great sound those speakers give. I tested them out this morning, I can hear at 87 MPH, much faster than I normally run. The powered antenna allows me better reception than my car radios, and I don't have any visible antennas. GREAT DEAL, I wish I had done this before. I'll post back when I get the XM complete.
You've convinced me....I'm ordering the hogtunes speakers right now.
You won't regret it. I would tell everyone to get that powered antenna as well...HUGE difference. I didn't get the chance to put in the XM radio, I won't until Sunday, but I'll post back with those results as well.
My next project? Chroming the front end...check out the Group buy thread in the vendors classified forum to see what I'm ordering!
