Angry Fullsac Cracked!!! UPDATE!!!

I have a 2001 Road King and was resently having some major back fire problems. Checked all the exhaust connections twice and could not for the life of me figure out what was causing the popping. Thought it may be running too lean. To be sure I desided I was going to take the entire exuast apart and re-install to be sure. Could not imagine I had another cracked exhaust pipe since I had gone through the system a month ago. I went with the Fullsac set up a year and a half ago after the original HD "Y" pipe cracked open. Since the Fullsac is not that old I would not have guessed I had another cracked pipe. I took the whole left side exhaust off and when I got to the Fullsac "U" pipe at the head I found a pretty good size crack half way around the wield and another starting up the pipe. This is a real pisser. What is with these bikes cracking exhaust pipes? I read on here it is a common problem. Other than putting out the big bucks for a true dual system, which I can not afford, I guess I'm stuck with trying another Fullsac pipe, ($179) but I'm a little concerned that it will fail again. I will be putting a call into Fullsac as soon as they open today so I'll keep you all posted. I needed to vent some since this is really getting to be an old and costly problem. Thanks for any ideas.

umm 2 full sacs = 1 V&H dresser duals. Just sayin. the dresser dual are pipe wall is heavier gauge than the stock. I have no experience with FS and I am not putting down there product but for me it was ~180 vs ~320 with one piece heat shields was enough for me, as I did not want to jury rig the heat shields and not be satisfied with the looks. thats just me, but I would see if you can get a new pipe from FS before buying another one.

Backfiring will blow apart a muffler, not Fulsac's quality issue at all. Don't have any Fulsac products, never had any, but I have seen what backfiring will do to a muffler.

UPDATE: Well after talking to the guys at Fullsac they offered to make it right if it was in fact their product. Apparently there is a counterfitter out there duplicating their product. After some searching I found my original paypal payment statement which indicates I purchased it in June 08 from B&E performance not Fullsac. I assume I did this through E-bay but actually can remember how I came across it. I remember the instruction were identical to Fullsac and I'm pretty sure somewhere they even mention the name "Fullsac" otherwise I do not why I would have assumed I got it from Fullsac directly. The guy at Fullsac says the counterfitter uses a lesser gauge material which I can now understand. So this is a "my bad" on my part for believing I had a Fullsac product when in fact I did not. I went a head and ordered the ORIGINAL Fullsac product, now having full confidence if the product fails they will make it right. The guy at Fullsac was a stand up guy and says they only have had a problem with one of their systems out of 1000's they have sold. It's just to bad that their is a TURD out there taking advantage of guys like me and Fullsac. So if any of you bought your Fullsac "type" system from E-bay and it was not directly from Fullsac you may have received the counterfit type product.
