Default Stage 2 question !!!

Ive got a 05 ultra classic, fuel injected, Im wanting to put a stage 2 kit in the bike and Im hearing different scenario's about doing the stage 2 , Ive been told I can do a power commander and a set of 203 cams or I could do a screaming eagle pro super tuner and the stage 2 kit from harley the cams and power commander is 1/3 the cost than the stage 2 kit.
would love to hear from someone on this

Default Stage 2 kit

Want the best budget build out there?

Try this: SE211 cam, SE cast high compression pistons, stock heads, stock pushrods, Cometic .030 head gasket, Power Commander and a tune.

Done. Look at my signature below for an example (we did not get the Cometic .030" head gasket but should have).

That will get you a midrange torque curve. Want a lower RPM toque curve? SE203 cam, SE cast flat top pistons, stock heads, stock pushrods, Cometic .030 head gasket, Power Commander and a tune. This is an "on the cheap" build.

You probably would want new lifters and adjustable pushrods.

There are many good build combinations out there for a few more bucks. As we all know, performance cost money. How much is it worth to you.

I believe Stage II is strictly a cam change, correct? That if you do any larger displacement stuff that moves it to a Stage III? If that is true, the Stage II should be pretty straight forward, you find cams that suit your riding style, and either put them in yourself, or have someone else do it. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here please.
