Ask the shop to do a compression test on both cylinders. Numbers should be within a few pounds of each other. If one is a lot lower than the other, the cams are likely off by a tooth. Don't ask me how I know.
BTW - It's not likely that is what happened, and I would expect a shop to get a little pissed at the accusation they didn't install them correctly. Weider things have happened though.
I think Dunnperformance and Phil have probably the best estimate as to what is going on. A better cam choice may have been the Andrews 26 for what you have already on the bike.
well everyone has me wondering, is it possible to lose torque and hp numbers with a 96 c/u twin cam bike , with pc3, fuel moto slipons, and hi-flow a/c,,, after i had these andrews 37 cam installed?? my numbers were better before the cams were installed.. thank you
