Mines been doing it off and on since new. Dealer told me it was "normal". They do clear up and I haven't had any issues. It happens usually in the morning when I pull it out and take off. Sometimes it's really bad when there is a lot of moisture in the air.

I have an 09 Ultra and have noticed the same, especially in a rim around the upper perimeter of the speedo and tach. I've been considering seeing if the dealer will address this under warranty. By the way, I was told gauges from the 10 Ultra Limited would be a direct replacement and they've got real nice lighting inside...

If they're anything like the guages on my RK their not sealed and do fog quite often. The gas guage the day after I wash it is unreadable for several hours, actuall has water drops on the inside of the glass. A couple of hours in the sun and everything dries right up

It's a perfectly normal reaction to warm moist air inside of the gauge coming up against the cool glass/plastic of the gauge face. There is a very simple fix for this condition. Remove the glass/plastic from the gauge.

This is one of those "Harley" things you hear about all the time that still I can't get my head around. How many of us have CARS that guages don't fog up? Better yet, how many of us have had metric bikes who's guages don't fog up.

I don't think the behavior is normal. Seal the guages or something Harley... sheesh.

Yep, mine have always done it, in every HD model I've owned. At this point, I'd think something was wrong if it didn't happen.
