I've forgotten what product to use for inside helmet face shields (and my glasses) to keep them from fogging, does anyone recall? Nice cooold ride last night with Gerbings. Would've been great if I didn't have to unlatch the helmet allowing air circulation to clear things up every 1/2 mile. I tried Plextor but didn't work.

You can go to a ski shop, they usually sell it for snow skiers, I think one brand is Cat Crap.

Or you can just pretend that you are on the ILS with minimums down to zero!

Sounds dirty but in a pinch. out with no other resources spit will work

 

Next time it happes, just call up atc, they will gladly help you. I personally never go out unless conditions are vfr.

 

You would certainly benefit from the training required for the IFR rating, even if you never flew IMC.
