I just had to slightly bend the brake line. Other than that you may have to play with the position of the brake lever/throttle to make sure the throttle will snap back.
They're supposed to be 1 1/2 inches narrower, and 3 1/2 inches higher than my stock ones. Mine are supposed to be here tomorrow, and I hope to install them tomorrow afternoon. All my stuff comes back from paint later this week, so I won't be able to ride test them until this weekend most likely.
I put those on my 98 RKC. Had to bend the brake line to make it work. No problem. The ride is more comfortable on my back and shoulders but the wrist position takes getting used to. I thought at first that my wrists would kill me on long rides but this has not been the case. If you find your wrist position feels a little funky, give yourself plenty of time to get used to it.
Well I got the bars installed this afternoon. Now I just wish the painter would get done so I could enjoy all the new things I've been buying for the bike. Wrist angle is pretty much the same as before, but the bars are narrower. I have them tilted back so that they feel about the same as the old ones, but with more pull back now. I 'think' they are gonna be an improvement over the old ones, but won't know for sure until I can take a ride. Biggest issue was tweaking the brake line so that I could get the nacelle back together. Other than that, it went smooth.
