Default I've Found My Sound

I say "my sound" because I suppose everyone has an exhaust sound that suits them.

I tried Bub 7 and Bub 7 Stealth slip-ons and neither was what I wanted. I was looking for slip-ons that had a deeper tone than the stock mufflers and enough sound that I could hear what I was doing when I pulled out at a traffic light. On the other hand, I still wanted to hear the radio.

To be honest, the stock mufflers sounded pretty good to me. They just weren't quite loud enough for me to hear my pipes when I was pulling out or riding in a group.

I finally spoke with Jamie at Fuel Moto a month or so ago and he told me about the new tunable quiet baffles they were working on for the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers. I decided to order a set and try them. I put them on last week and loaded the map. I'm running them with a Stage 1 AC and a PCV.

I listened to them with and without the silent insert, but couldn't take a ride. They have a nice deep rumble at idle and are louder than stock. With the insert in, they have a deeper tone and are louder than stock, but not much.

I finally got to take a ride today. I rode with the silent insert removed. I found that when you twist the throttle, they sound really, really good! I had trouble keeping myself from twisting the go handle. These mufflers are plenty loud enough for me. (I guess I'm getting old) They have a sound level with the insert removed that is as close as I'll ever get to perfect for me.

The performance with the Jackpots is much better than with stock mufflers as well. I'll probably put the insert in sometime soon just to see what it sounds like while riding.

For those who are looking for a reasonably priced set of slip-ons that have a nice deep tone and are loud enough to hear when you want or need to, I would highly recommend the Jackpot Dyno Tuned with the tunable quiet baffle.

I was just listening to some clips from utube. Sounds like they have a deep rumble to them. Sounds good

I agree with you about the Jackpots. Excellent slip on. It has the sound I was looking/listening for. Fuel Moto puts out an excellent pipe.
