Ok, I have watched a video or two on this, but just can't really get a real feel for how much louder the jackpots are gonna be than the stock headpipe...
My bike is an 09 StreetGlide.... International, so it has the cat in it, and Rinehart Slip-ons.
If someone has kept the same mufflers on before and after swapping a cat'd headpipe, how much louder did it get? (I'm hoping lots... or a decent amount atleast)
Also, I am gonna try to use my existing V&H FuelPak to tune this in if i go ahead... Anybody done this, and know which map works the best? (I know I'd get more power with a good tune, this is my regular-fuel bike, its ok haha)
I don't have the Jackpot headers but they will be louder and deeper than what you have now. If you want loud, talk to Jamie at Fuel Moto and he'll set you up with the right muffler and baffles you're looking for. The Rineharts will sound pretty deep if you have the 4", loud with a higher pitch if you have the 3-1/2's.
Talk to him about the V&H Fuelpack too. He may be able to hook you up with the right map for your setup also.

I might have the info you are asking about.
I measured, with a sound meter app on my iPhone, the sound from a combination of the stock catted header in combination with Jackpot Pro Touring mufflers. The sound, at idle of 1100, was measured at 81.5 db, 12" back at a 45 degree angle from the end of the right pipe.
Then I changed out the stock catted header for the much nicer stainless Jackpot header. Then I installed the same Jackpot Pro Touring mufflers and measured again. The sound this time measured at 84 db....I measured the sound again at 2000 rpms and it increased to 89.1 db.
So my findings indicate an increase in sound of 2.5 db at idle and it goes up from there dependent upon rpm.
The Jackpot header did a much better job than the stock header on splitting exhaust gases between the right and left side muffler. If you are interested in that, send me a PM and I'll share my findings.

I believe when I changed out my catted stock head pipe for the FM as 2-1-2 it was about twice as loud. I think every + 3db change equates to 2x the SPL. I'm no sound expert by any stretch but I recall this from my research when buying home theatre equipment. Maybe some experts out there ..

if im not mistaken the '09 did NOT have a cat, that's why guys looked for them for swaps
