Default 2000 Road King switch housings
I have a 2000 Road King standard, I want to put new switch housings on it, the throttle and idle cables are different sizes at the handlebar end. If I get different throttle and idle cables is there any reason I can't use the housings for say a 2002+ Road King? Thanks for any input.

You can use housings up to 07 even without changing your cables. The throttle and idle cable ends are differant sizes on all those years, but are the same as yours.

Thanks for the input, that is what I was thinking. But everyone looks at me like I am crazy when I tell them the ends are different sizes. Why does it show the 02+ housings as a different part number?
