Never had any problems with my FNI flush axle, after two years. I did use anti-seize on it.

Thank you. Exactly what I was saying and why I personally won't have another.

I'd like to see a pic of yours too BP.

Read a few posts about problems with flush mounted axles gaulding up. They where older posts, whats the consenses now. Any problems getting the axle out, would you use it again? Whats a good one to use?

Exactly as harley-jones posted, use a lot of Anti-Seize or equivalent.

Removal of the end cap is not as difficult as some make it sound. I use a round punch that fits the end of the axle cap. I have yet to have to take one all the way out to access the 6MM bolt. A few taps and it will allow the bolt to be removed. On the flip side once you set your front end up how many times are you in there? The new lowering kits for the bikes don't even pull the lowers off like they use to.

Flush mount axle and Bad As Hell fork Cap.

Just curious how many miles you have on your bike since installing this axle? I'm about to install the KW flush mount and the disclaimer at the bottom of the page about how it's only for "show" bikes and not for road use has given me pause. Thanks.
