Default Drag specialties flush mount axle

I installed a drag specialties flush mount axle after caroming my front end and was wondering if anyone has dug up a torque spec for this axle. I called drag and they said LA choppers actually manufactures it for them and they featured me to la choppers. La choppers tech was not available so I'm waiting on a return phone call. The axle came with no instructions so who knows. Stock axle torque spec is 70-75 ft lbs and I know renegade flush axle spec is 55 ft lbs so I torqued it to 55 but a spec for my axle would be nice

Great la choppers says drag should give me a spec and drag says la choppers should have a spec to give me. What a joke!

55f/p should be fine. When you tighten the cap it is not going anywhere.

They only thing that concerns me is I have a small gap between the axle cap and the fork leg on the fork cap side. I can easily pull the fork leg outward away from the wheel spacer and then the axle cap meets the fork leg and looks good but then my fork leg is not holding the wheel spacer tightly. Basically the axle cap meets the axle before it meets the fork leg. Which makes me think if I tightened it more and threaded the axle in further my problem would be solved, but I don't want to over tighten it.
