Flush Mount Axles Problems
Well at least I dont feel pregnant. Im not the only one around that has had issues with a flush mounted axle:

The threads on mine broke also.
Yes spacers are in the correct sides.
Threaded Cap wouldnt go in far enough to contact the axle threads.
Threaded Cap would not pull into the left side fork.
Threads broke on the axle. See floating brake thread for explaination.
Grease, anti seize, you name it. I used it.
Anyone know of a axle that actually works on a 08?
I need a new set

Ya the only way that left side cap could be pulled in on mine was to take a dremel sanding disk to the inside of the fork axle hole.
Not sure I should have to go there huh?
I did find a Paul Yaffe Bagger Nation flush mount axle. Its different in the way the axle cap is attached. I think I will use them.
