My plans for the winter are to put some chrome forks on the front. I have the HD front end kit in the garage but I have been wondering about these flush mount axles. Thinking about the the adjure axle with Bad as Hell caps. They look really nice. Are there any complaints about using them? Is there anything I would regret? They look so nice I can't understand why the MOCO doesn't have one in their kit.

I've had one on my 07 SG for three years and really like it with no problems. The only drawback to them is the flush cap with the nut inside it that wedges into the left fork is a bitch to get back out if you need to remove the bolt that goes into the bottom of the fork when you need to remove the fork internals. The best way to intall the cap with the nut in it into the left fork is to use a bolt, washer and nut and pull it into the fork.

I've had y Klockwerks flush mount for almost a year and have put more than 10K miles on it with no problems whatsoever. It looks GREAT and was an easy install. As oldguy1946 states, the left side digs into the lowers aluminum by design when you install it. Once in, it pretty much does not come out. Not sure if that's a negative but it's worth mentioning. I love mine!
I like the look too, but $200 for an axle and 2 flush mount covers?
Kinda hard to swallow that one....at least for me.
I just might have to be happy with the big ol' ugly axle covers for that kind of cash..
